Why is my inverter not showing charging light and showing only on the Mains?

The simple answer is – the inverter is at fault. This may mean a faulty connection somewhere. What do you mean ‘showing only on the mains’? If there is a mains connected lamp as well as a charging lamp then your inverter charging circuit is at fault. If you meen that the inverter supplies power when the mains is dead then your inverter is working – the fault might simply be a dead charging indicator. So, as you can see it is not as simple as might be thought. The fault needs to be identified in more detail.
